Those of us who grew up ON THE PRISTINE BEACHES OF ST. AUGUSTINE will remember the times we rode horses on the beach, surfed all day, built bonfires, camped on it, drove both ways for free, and parked at Blow Hole for early session with friends.
Our world revolved around getting to the beach, surfing, and scrounging up enough money to get something to eat. My passion for the restaurant business over the last 32 years and the memories of growing up in St. Augustine are combined at Coquina Beach Surf Club to bring our customers the best in seasonal seafood, select beef entrees, seasonal produce, killer burgers, unique sandwiches and creative specials. Casual and comfortable outdoor dining, the cool and cozy Blue Wave Bar, clean and crisp drinks, interesting wine list and classic local décor creates the perfect setting for dining with friends.

Owner Chris Way and Chef Brian Whittington invite you to relax and enjoy the sea breeze, great food and good vibes that are the heart and soul of life at the beach. Featuring a spacious outdoor patio with comfy outdoor sofas and cafe tables and a luminous “Blue Wave Bar” that is the centerpiece of its sleek, modern interior, Coquina Beach serves dinner daily at 4 p.m. and lunch on weekends. Enjoy an elegant dinner with a bottle of wine or kick ack with a burger and a beer—here you can be as casual or as stylish as you like. The menu features the best in seasonal seafood—including classic fried shrimp—as well as steaks, hearty braised short ribs and pulled pork, killer burgers, unique sandwiches, and creative.
